Starting with cross-stitch alphabet, sewing seams, more cross-stitch and decorative seams, progressing through backstitch embroidery, making buttonholes, darning, and finally a free form embroidery "My first embroidery". Such samplers were made during years of needlework lessons, the individual pieces stitched together and lined, to be kept as reference work.

|
